Who is Jerrod Niemann ?
Jerrod Niemann is an American country music singer/songwriter.Now the Australian country fans who have pay tv may have seen his video "what do you want" that airs on the Country Music Channel,But having only one song on there I wanted to find more.I bought his album "Jerrod Niemann and the hung jury".I must say I was surprised.The array of songs was incredible.
I would describe Jerrod's vocals as smooth,strong and deep,As he goes from a song of heartbreak and transitions to a song of drinking "One more drinking song"He manages to do it flawlessly and with a sense of humour.
The intermissions between song's is funny and a little disturbing (diaper comment).The songs are one's that will stick in your head long after the album is finished.From the sweet vocals of "They should of named you cocaine" to "Lover Lover" a song that he covers but somehow makes it his own.
This is the must have country album for your own collection .Sadly because of copyright laws us Australian's can not see his video for "One more drinking song" that has been newly released as a single,But the good news is we can buy his album from itunes here.
Also if you would like to purchase the actual album check out JB hi-fi stores but be prepared to wait up to six weeks.Then again this album is worth the wait.

With his trademark style and unique vocals He captured hearts,With his lyrics he captured souls."Country is my rock" has some of the most memorable songs from the upbeat "The next time" to the heart breaking "The bottle" (This song I must admit is one of my all time favourites) Every song tells a story and is easy for any listener to relate to.

Trent has been Busy recording the last few months,And released a single to radio stations across America.The single "Cross my Heart" is a beautiful love song that will make a girl's heart flutter.As Trent described the new record to me as more mature then "Country is my rock" It will be on my must have Country albums because not only has Trent's audience grown up a little it also appears so has Trent.His pride and joy is his daughter.His fans all agree Trent has a big heart and it's evident in his music,And the many charity show's he does.

Mark Wills first came to the attention of Australian country fans with the song "Don't laugh at me" an extremely powerful song about bullying.This song was followed by "19 something".The video is still a regular feature on CMC,And it's not hard to see why,With its fun catchy tune and lyrics that any child of the 70's or 80's can relate too (yes I am an 80's baby).Hearing these songs I soon became a fan and had to order in all his albums (Try JB HIFI or Music plus stores).Once I received these albums I was blown away.Mark has a unique voice and vocals.He also has a big heart which becomes evident in his music.

As Australian country fans we all enjoy seeing Jimmy Wayne on our country music channel.Though being in another country causes obstacles such as not being up to date on what our favourite international singers are up to.So lets get you all up to date .I first heard Jimmy on Cmc and they continue to play 3 of his singles .The song was "Stay Gone" a beautifully written and performed song about realizing that you are sometimes better off without certain people in your life,A hard lesson that a lot of us have faced at one time in our lives.
Jimmy Wayne is one of those artists that have the amazing ability to write his songs about his own life experience,Often his music and lyrics can be applied and relate to experiences that you yourself have most likely had or are going through.His music has a powerful message that only he can express in the way that he does,On his first album He took his listeners on a journey that is impossible to forget.Paper angels tells of poverty,missing children and child abuse.Sounds depressing right? ...The beautiful thing about it is it's not.In fact it has the opposite effect it inspires you to help these "Paper Angels"..His other songs on this album self titled Jimmy Wayne released in 2003 are just as powerful and awe inspiring.He has gone on to also release two more albums "Do you believe me now" 2008 and "Sara smile" in 2009.
Both these albums bring more inspiration and more great music in a way that only Jimmy Wayne can do,He offers something new and refreshing to country music.

Now there was no way I could feature him as a great artist without mentioning (some what in awe) of the man behind the music. On January 1st 2010 while most of us Aussie's were recovering from our hangover's and late night party's Jimmy Wayne was setting out on a amazing journey on foot.He started walking in the middle of winter leaving Nashville Tennessee headed for Pheonix,Arizona. What would make a successful country singer leave his comfortable life for blisters,pain and other obstacles that would arise? His need to help others.He decided to do this to raise awareness and money for homeless teens that had "Aged" out of foster care.He would walk 2,670km on average 40 km's a day in snow,sleet,hail and the blazing Arizona heat.This walk took 7 months to complete but he again changed lives,Not just with his music.Jimmy created project meet me halfway which continues with the legacy that Jimmy Wayne began and he continues to work tirelessly to Change the lives of people,not only around him but all over the world .
Jimmy Wayne is also the national spokesperson for CASA a volunteer program that advocates on behalf of children.They look at what is in the best interest of a child,Case by case,Child by child due to the fact they work independently and it's volunteer based this programme helps the child not for any other motive but to make sure a child is safe and finds the much needed love and support.

In your opinion who is the most underrated country singer?
Jason Terry:I'm hesitating on this one because he is getting a lot more exposure now that he has signed with Valory Music Co. but I will say Brantley Gilbert.He is a great songwriter.Country music use to be more about the music now it seems to be about the money the industry control everything Brantley keeps it real ,He's a down to earth guy from what I have heard .
